In a video posted by Djokovic, the tennis star can be seen hitting a few overhead smashes before brilliantly catching the ball in his left short pocket. The neat trick had fans, who had gathered to watch him practice, cheering loudly. Djokovic missed out on a place in the ATP semi-finals in London after losing to Roger Federer. He later stated that he had been suffering from pain in his elbow. Winning the ATP finals title would have given Djokovic the chance to take back the number one rank from Spain’s Rafal Nadal. However, that was not to be as the Serb lost to the Swiss master 4-6, 3-6.

Though Djokovic is struggling with injury, Serbia’s Davis Cup Captain Nenad Zimonjic is confident that he will be in excellent shape for the Davis Cup. He said that so far, everything seemed to be okay. Zimonjic said that Djokovic had his first practice match on Sunday and everything had been going fine. He further added that there was going to be enough time for Djokovic to prepare for Serbia’s first match on Wednesday. Serbia will open their Davis Cup campaign against Japan on Wednesday. They will later meet France in their second group match on Thursday.
