John Cena – Base salary

John Cena is indeed the biggest draw in the WWE and reportedly takes home a base salary of $8.5 as of mid-2018, which isn’t far behind Brock Lesnar who is the highest-paid athlete in the promotion with a staggering $12 million.

This is the annual estimate that the superstar is entitled to and does not include the merchandise sales and bonuses from headlining pay-per-view events. Interestingly, John Cena, who has been called the 'Golden Goose' of the company had dominated merchandise sales for well over a decade, before getting surpassed by the likes of Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch, which could be attributed to his part-time schedule.
