Monday Night RAW selected Orton, Ricochet, and Bobby Lashley. SmackDown, on the other hand, selected Sasha Banks and Braun Strowman in their Round Two picks. Orton faced Rusev at the Hell In a Cell Pay-per-view this month and competed with then WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston, for the title at the Clash of Champions PPV in September.

His feuds with John Cena, Triple H, Evolution have been memorable for fans.
While 30 superstars were a part of the Night 1 draft on SmackDown, 41 other superstars will be part of the draft that will continue on next week's Monday Night Raw. Lesnar and Velasquez will be fighting for the WWE Championship. Other highlights from the draft included "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt being drafted to SmackDown.
