WWE: The Undertaker may not show up at Crown Jewel 2019 at all

The upcoming WWE PPV Crown Jewel may take place without The Undertaker on the card. Know more about his current WWE status and other details of his career.

It seems that The Undertaker and WWE are not having a great time together and he might not be appearing in the upcoming PPV Crown Jewel this year. He did not appear in the SmackDown FOX debut too and a lot of fans revealed their disappointment over it. WWE fans inquired about his absence on Instagram but Taker’s response stunned them. The Undertaker stated “I was told I wasn't needed”  in response to an Instagram comment by a fan who wanted to know the reason for The Undertaker’s absence. This sparked a lot of buzz among the fan base but ended up in peace when WWE decided to bring back The Undertaker at WWE Crown Jewel.

WWE: What will happen at Crown Jewel 2019?

The upcoming PPV Crown Jewel has some interesting matches lined up. Boxing legend Tyson Fury will go against Braun Strowman ‘The Monster Among Men’ and former UFC Heavyweight Champions, Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar will fight each other for the first time inside a WWE ring. However, The Undertaker might not be a part of an amazing card which will surely hurt a lot of his fans. According to Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ‘The Phenom’ has been excluded from the Riyadh trip. There are some big names in Crown Jewel and WWE feels that The Undertaker’s absence is not going to affect their star-power for upcoming PPV.

WWE: The Undertaker appearances

The Undertaker has an interesting contract with WWE. According to reports, WWE has given a lifetime contract to ‘The Phenom’ which will allow him to make an appearance at any moment of his life. The Undertaker retired from WWE after facing his second Wrestle Mania loss against Roman Reigns but kept on appearing in the WWE ring after that. His last appearance was in Extreme Rules, 2019 where he teamed up with his former-rival Roman Reigns and took out Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a tag-team match.
