Yograj Singh, the father of former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, has once again sparked controversy by blaming MS Dhoni for allegedly destroying his son's cricket career. In a recent interview, Yograj Singh launched a scathing attack on the former Indian captain, accusing him of unfairly sidelining Yuvraj Singh during his tenure as captain.

Yograj Singh spits venom against MS Dhoni

"I won't forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life," Yograj Singh stated on Zee Switch YouTube channel.

Yuvraj Singh, widely regarded as one of India's greatest all-rounders, played a pivotal role in India's triumphs in both the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 Cricket World Cup. His six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad during the 2007 T20 World Cup are etched in cricketing history, and his all-round performance in the 2011 ODI World Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament, remains a career-defining moment.

However, according to Yograj Singh, MS Dhoni's leadership decisions affected Yuvraj Singh's later years in international cricket. He implied that Dhoni's influence played a role in Yuvraj being dropped from the team and not being given enough opportunities to prove his mettle post-2011.

"That man (MS Dhoni) has destroyed the life of my son, who could have played four to five years more. I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that there won't be another Yuvraj Singh. India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing with cancer and winning the World Cup for the country," Yograj added.

This is not the first time Yograj Singh has made such allegations against MS Dhoni. Over the years, he has repeatedly criticized Dhoni for what he perceives as deliberate actions that harmed Yuvraj Singh's career. These comments have often ignited debates among cricket fans and pundits, with many defending Dhoni's decisions as being in the best interest of the team.

MS Dhoni, known for his calm demeanor and sharp cricketing acumen, has never responded to such allegations. His legacy as one of India's most successful captains, who led the team to numerous ICC victories across formats, including the World Cups, remains intact.
