India vs New Zealand: Ahead of the all-important Test versus New Zealand, India captain Rohit Sharma was spotted playing with his daughter Samaira. In a clip that has surfaced on social space, you can see Rohit is on a trampoline and Samaira is playing with him. The adorable video is now going viral as fans are commenting on it. 

Meanwhile, Rohit would be leading the Indian side in the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand. India would start hot favourites after having whitewashed Bangladesh at home. The opening Test takes place at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium, starting October 16. India would like to start on a winning note. 

"For us, every team brings different challenges. We have played a lot of cricket against them and know their players and their strength and weaknesses. For us, we want to improve from our last series," Rohit said at the pre-match presser on Tuesday. 

"We'll see how the days pan out. Then we will take a call. In Kanpur, we didn't get the game on two days and then decided to go for the win. I don't know what it is going to be here. We'll see what lies ahead of us and then take a call. We want to try and win games," he added. 

Rohit Provided Update on Shami's Injury

"To be honest, it is difficult to make a call on him for Australia series. He had a setback and had swelling in his knees. That put him back a little bit and had to start again. He's at the NCA with doctors and physios. We don't want to bring undercooked Shami to Australia. We are keeping our fingers crossed."
