Bad weather may hamper India vs New Zealand 1st Test

Team India is currently leading the ICC World Test Championship points table and is eager to add more points to their tally, but the rain may hinder their chances. New Zealand, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back from their recent defeat against Sri Lanka.

The rain has already caused Team India's practice session on Tuesday to be cancelled. According to weather.com, the chances of rain are predicted to be 41% on October 16, 40% on October 17, 67% on October 18, 25% on October 19, and 40% on October 20.

The grim weather forecast for Bengaluru has cast a dark cloud over the upcoming Test match between India and New Zealand, with a high likelihood of the game being abandoned due to relentless rain. The prospects of a full five-day contest seem bleak, and even the possibility of a result being achieved in the match appears remote.

With two days of the match called off due to bad light and inclement weather, India still managed to get a result out of the game, handing Bangladesh a 7-wicket defeat and clean sweeping the series 2-0.
