Multan Pitch Controversy: Nasser Hussain MOCKS Flat Strip HILARIOUSLY During Pakistan-England Test

Pakistan vs England: The Multan pitch has come under scrutiny after batters scored big runs during the first Test between Pakistan and England. Batting first, the hosts put on a mammoth 556 runs. And then, England have bettered that score. With a lead of 102 runs already, England have amassed 658 runs for the loss of merely three wickets. Joe Root has been on a record-breaking spree, he is currently on 259*. Former cricketers have been slamming the curators for preparing a strip which is a paradise for batters and has nothing for the bowlers. Former England captain Nasser Hussain came up with a quirky suggestion, where he reckoned if a batter misses three times, he should be declared out. While that will not happen, it is interesting to see the kind of reactions the strip is drawing.

Naseer said:  "If a batsmen misses 3 balls he should be declared out on this track."

Earlier, Root and Harry Brook struck unbeaten centuries and shared a 243-run partnership for the fifth wicket on a record-breaking day as England came up with a strong response to reach 492/3 against Pakistan at stumps on the third day of the opening Test at the Multan Stadium.

Root, who had reached 32 at the end of the second day, came up with another majestic effort to continue his superb form from the Lord’s Test against Sri Lanka in which he struck a hundred in both innings, hitting 143 and 103. He was unbeaten at 176 as he helped England come up with a solid response to Pakistan ’s massive first-innings score of 556. Bosch was batting on 141, a blazing effort coming off 173 deliveries, hitting 12 boundaries and one six.
