T20 World Cup: IND vs PAK Stadium still under construction, shoddy NY venue footage goes viral

The schedule for the T20 World Cup has been officially revealed by the ICC, and the anticipation has been growing ever since. India and Pakistan have been pitted in the same group, and they will be competing against each other in a high-stakes match in New York. USA will be co-hosting the T20 tournament with the West Indies, and the fans in the States will be in for a treat. However, there are concerns about the venue for the India vs Pakistan clash, as the stadium seems to be an absolute mess!

India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup venue is nothing but a simple ground!

After the ODI World Cup, Team India will be pitted against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup in West Indies and the US. While the fans in the States will be able to witness an age-old rivalry in action, concerns may arise over the match's venue, the Nassau County Cricket Stadium. The venue at the Eisenhower Park in Long Island, N.Y., is yet to undergo construction, and it has no stands for the spectators.

Cricket journalist Peter Della Penna took to X (Formerly Twitter) to share an update on the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, saying that management is yet to break the ground to build the venue and that the works will begin in February. He also shared a clip and images of the same, showcasing that the Stadium only has a pitch.

The Indian Cricket Team will be determined to win the T20 World Cup this year. A successful title run for the Men in Blue continues to remain evasive, as they failed to clinch the ODI World Cup. Now, Team India will face four teams in the T20 World Cup.
