Daire Gorman, born with a rare condition of Crommelin Syndrome, describes Liverpool as ‘his life’.

Daire, who considers Liverpool his life, gained previous attention when a video of him crying while listening to Liverpool's anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' during the Liverpool and Aston Villa match in September 2023 went viral. His emotional connection to the club caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp.

In December 2023, the little boy got emotional as he received a letter from Jurgen Klopp, inviting him and his family to witness the club’s training and meet the players.

In a surprise message that brought tears to Daire's eyes, Klopp expressed his appreciation for the young fan's passion, saying, "I just want to let you know we all saw the video of you at Anfield when you were listening to ‘You'll Never Walk Alone.’ The players and I absolutely love your passion for the club, so we want to do something for you to say thank you."

During their meeting at the training facility, Klopp talked about the viral video and said: “What I really love about it, I'm a bit older but it's similar what you felt in that moment to what I feel in moments.”

The heartwarming day allowed Daire to live his dream, meeting some of his favorite players, including Mohamed Salah and his hero, Luis Diaz. Klopp shared his thoughts on the emotional video, emphasizing the significance of the anthem: "This song means a lot to you and it means a lot to me, I could see your emotions."

“It's been a magical day. Meeting Klopp and meeting Diaz – my hero – I don't know how to put it into words. Mo [Salah] came by to say hello.'

Daire expressed his gratitude for the unforgettable experience, stating, “I'm just so grateful for it all, and I can't believe I came back to Liverpool again to do all this."
