PM Narendra Modi has a special message for Indian citizens after he interacted with the India para contingent
Following his interactions with the Indian para contingent, PM Narendra Modi sent a moving message to all Indians stressing the value of their successes and fortitude. Due to their hectic schedules, the athletes were virtually addressed by Modi, who also conveyed his pride and respect for their particular abilities and relentless drive.
Encouraging a societal change towards tolerance and equality for differently-abled people, he lauded their capacity to meet obstacles without being intimidated by success or failure. Aiming to encourage a good shift in society attitudes towards the differently abled, Modi praised their hard effort to promote a sports culture that celebrates and promotes the talents of every individual. PM Narendra Modi said:
“This time when you all went then I was not able to meet you physically as all of you were training at different places and schedule was also very hectic so I tried to connect with you all virtually and then I said one thing.
I said the other day that I’m here give a message from the citizens of India that VIJAYEE BHAVA! (May You Win!).”
“And all of you have followed the thought with the heart and made every citizen proud.
I’m connected to all of you and God has given you all special extra qualities you might be restricted with some part of your body but your persona has been given extra by the God and I have seen that your daily life might have not been easy, filled with struggles but you have dealt with all the situations and this is why I have seen there is no affect of winning or losing on you all and this is very special otherwise a lost person who has not won a medal is always under pressure or is demotivated but I don’t see all of that on anyone of you and this is a very big deal and that what will take you ahead and make you successful and this what I believe that many more people join sports. Medal could also come it is also a bonus but from your help I want to bring a culture of your sport in our country and the main part of that culture is that every citizen of India should have a sense of respect for the people who are differently abled. Their view towards them should be changed positively. They should look at them with respect and not mercy. That you’re no different than them. “
This all of your hard work counts, and it won’t go wane.”
