Agitated Djokovic Walks Off From TV Interview Post Persistent Questions On Wimbledon Booing Episode

Tennis Ace Novak Djokovic is once again at the centre of controversy in Wimbledon as he walked out angrily from an interview after being asked about boos.

Novak Djokovic is once again the centre of controversy at Wimbledon after he was booed at the Centre court in his matchup against Holger Rune. Novak Djokovic stirred the storm even further when he accused the centre court for using the ‘Ruuune’ chant as an excuse to boo. 

Since then, the topic of the disrespect and hate by tennis fans towards Novak Djokovic has resurfaced. In another related incident, Novak Djokovic's frustrations at the incident grew to an all time high when he waked out of a BBC interview after constantly being asked questions about the booing incident. 

Novak Djokovic Walks Out Of Interview 

A video has surfaced on social media in which Novak Djokovic sat down for an interview ahead of his Wimbledon Quarterfinal match against Alex De Minaur.

In the interview when asked about the booing incident, Novak Djokovic was clear that he had no regrets on how he dealt with the crowd. 

Djokovic wanted to move on from the incident on focus on other questions about the competition, but upon persistently being asked by the reporter on the incident, ‘Djoker’ simply decided to storm out of the interview.

Novak Djokovic To Square Off Against Lorenzo Musetti in Semis 

Novak Djokovic advanced into the semi finals of Wimbledon 2024 after Alex De Minaur pulled out of the Quarterfinals due to injury.

Djokovic will now face a challenge from the Italian Lorenze Musetti in the semi finals of Wimbledon 2024. He would want to win the encounter and progress to the finals on Sunday which will either be against defending champion Carlos Alcaraz or Daniil Medvedev.

Novak Djokovic is yet to win a title in 2024 and with a win at Center Court on Sunday he could end his barren spell in the calendar year as well as equal Roger Federer for record 8 Wimbledon crowns won.
