PUBG Mobile has seemingly not faced any ban  by any court in India which means that the latest reports on the game being banned by the Maharashtra High Court could very well be fake. If you have received some sort of image on social channels claiming to be a notice either from the government or a court order, you would need to completely check the authenticity of the image now.

Not so long ago, rumour mills were abuzz with a legal notice sort of an image doing the rounds on social media about PUBG being banned by the High Court of Maharashtra. A cross section of PUBG Mobile gamers also expressed their concerns over the notice, on online forums.

Now, PUBG Mobile is still playable in Maharashtra which means that the above notice that did intense social media rounds is clearly fake. At this juncture, it is worth noting that there have been no court orders in any part of India proposing a ban be placed on PUBG Mobile. In this regard, if you are a player, do apply thinking before forwarding (in case you have received such fake images on social media)  untrustworthy images to friends and family.

At this point in time, it is worth noting that PUBG Mobile ha apparently turned out to be popular in India and the game was also on top of Google Play games in the most downloaded section, with rapid strides achieved in the Apple App Store as well. Hence, if you think that gamers are getting addicted to the title, then discretion on how, when, and how much to play the game are advised to be taken judiciously.
