There are so many exciting things about PUBG. One of them is the frying pan. Every seasoned PUBG player must have certainly come across a frying pan at least once. But in case you happen to be a regular PUBG player, you need to see if the pan actually protects you from the bullets or not, and if it does, we show you how to use one to survive longer.

According to a video shared on Reddit, PUBG players can deflect incoming bullets with the help of frying pan. Even though the video is no longer available, we give you some tips to protect yourself from incoming bullets during the gameplay:

Reddit post comments demonstrate how the frying pan can act as a shield when you are not holding it in the hands. It can easily block shotgun blasts. A frying pan is also claimed to block bullets while in the land, and from both the sides. This way, you can possibly minimise severe damage caused by bullets to a significant extent, and at the same time, survive longer.

This could be yet another interesting technique you can try: In a separate Quora post, a PUBG player claimed that aggressively swinging a frying pan stop or deflects 80 per cent of incoming bullets from UMP9.

The Pan is a melee weapon in PUBG. According to a Gamepedia article about PUBG, the pan used to cause 100+ damage in the pre-released version of PUBG Mobile. As funny or unrealistic as it may sound, a player with all level 3 armour would be killed instantly upon being hit by the pan.

That, however, is no longer the case with the public release of PUBG. So if you are interested, you can try all these techniques and put them to some good use.
