New Updates To PUBG To Start With Modifications To Erangel Map: Check These Out Now

Maps in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) now look set for revamps, and this process would officially begin from Erangel. The most important modification in this regard would be the better balancing of loot.

In an official blog post, PUBG states that there would also be the incorporation of newer compounds. “The addition of compounds is just one way we’re testing internally, but is certainly not the ONLY way” stated folks at PUBG in an official blog post.

The technical folks have also teased the incorporation of a refresh to the overall map layout. These entire processes are said to constitute the total remastering scheme of things for PUBG (especially for Erangel).

This development is potentially indicative of the fact that there could be updates to Erangel in the very near future allowing players to share feedback on testing. This feedback could determine future PUBG content.

“More importantly, we’re excited to test it alongside you. Your feedback will be crucial in making Erangel as fun and exciting in the current PUBG environment as it was when we first launched,” add the technical PUBG folks.

In other recent PUBG updates worth knowing at this juncture, the game could be banned in the Bhavnagar and Gir Somnath cities of Gujarat state for being harmful and addictive for children. This development follows that of Rajkot where the police issued notifications imposing a ban on the battle royale title. This ban is now in force and continues till 30 March 2019.

People breaching the order could face action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. Here, gamers should remember that just indulging in playing the game on mobile phones might not result in gamers landing up in jail, but harming others and instigating violence would do.
