There could be a new Nintendo Direct as early as during early January 2019. AT this point in time, it is worth noting that the last Nintendo Direct came out during September 2018, and it is now potentially the right time for a new release.

As per a Gaming Intel report, that quotes internal sources, Nintendo loyalists could potentially expect a new Nintendo Direct to release during January, and the release date is rumoured to be during the early part of the month. The January 10 date is also being teased at this point in time; though official confirmations from Nintendo are yet to come to the ore at this juncture.

With respect to games that could be showcased in Nintendo Direct, rumour mills are abuzz with titles such as Pokemon 2019, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Animal Crossing being unveiled; for the Switch. Nonetheless, Nintendo loyalists could share thoughts/insights on the new speculated Direct.

In other game-related developments, some of Sony’s important gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation VR, and PlayStation Slim have received price cuts in India; on the e-tailers; and these are available at the reduced prices at this point in time. Here, it is worth noting that the physical retailers are also said to be following suit with respect to effecting price cuts (as per rumours); hence, if you are a potential buyer of these consoles, then you could cross check for the new prices before finalizing buying plans.

Also, a next-gen variant of both the Sony PS and Microsoft Xbox One is speculated to be showcased this year; followed by a commercial release in 2020. In this regard, the E3 2019 potentially promises lots of excitement to gaming enthusiasts across the world. Redmond has already confirmed its participation at the event whereas Sony has confirmed absence.
