“NoChineseApps” versus “Chinese Mobile Phones”

With “NoChineseApps” trending on social media, Twitterati have also been drawing parallels and making comparisons with Chinese mobile phones in India – most of which are manufactured in India (for India) and a minority of which are still imported from brands in China after they are manufactured in the country.

Nonetheless, the Indian government’s “Make in India” initiative has led to even Chinese smartphone brands investing in purely “Make in India” and customizing their products/offerings for the local market (regional language support).

Moving back to the Chinese apps scheme of things, check out below multiple eye-catchy concern expressed by Twitterati with respect to calling for a ban on Chinese apps. Do you think a total ban on Chinese apps would be justified from the Indian scheme of things?

Amidst the above digital call on Twitter; there have also been calls, to use Share Chat, from Twitterati. In summary, the judgment of judicious/wise usage of the right apps are the onus of netizens, don't you think so?
