PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) players in India now have a new way to play the game and this is exciting new as PUBG Lite which introduces the core PUBG experiences even to low-end personal computers (PCs) is confirmed to hit the region, after multiple delays and even having rolled out (in a beta variant) to countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Hong Kong. Indian PUBG players would be able to officially play PUBG Lite on their PCs really quickly.

Announcing PUBG Lite in India, PUBG LITE in an official Facebook posting states that PUBG players in India could even participate in the first ever PUBG x Gamer Connect event in Kolkata – now, this event seems to represent PUBG Lite officially setting foot on India shores.

However, with PUBG Lite being the point of focus at this point in time, the game’s launch announcement could not have come at a more “auspicious” time considering the fact that players in the country have intensely waited and also not every gamer necessarily happens to have access to high-end gaming consoles/smartphones to check out the core PUBG experiences. Here’s where PUBG lite hits the nail squarely on the head with respect to opening-UP to players having access to only comparatively lower-end (with respect to technical configurations) PCs to check out PUBG.

Now, with PUBG Lite all set to roll out to Indian gamers, the technical specifications required to play the game in a hassle-free manner are worth looking at:

  • Operating System –64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 at least, or Windows 10, Windows 8
  • Minimum graphics - Intel HD Graphics 4000 card
  • Minimum RAM – A minimum of 4GB RAM
  • Minimum Processor – Intel Core i3 clocked at least 2.4GHz
  • Internal storage– Minimum 4GB.
