The Pokémon Company has made a slew of announcements including a new cloud service at its event marketed as "a preview of the future of Pokémon". During the event, one thing that actually caught our attention is this upcoming Pokemon game that turns sleeping into an entertainment. Well, folks over at The Pokémon Company are launching a new Pokemon game next year where your sleep would impact gameplay. The game is called Pokémon Sleep.

Pokémon Sleep app will essentially track player's sleep pattern and use the data for gameplay. According to the company, players will be given objectives for each morning and they will be required to finish these tasks when they wake up every morning. To track the sleep pattern of the player, the Pokémon Company has come together with Nintendo on a new sleep-tracking device called the Pokémon Go Plus +. The device will monitor your sleep patterns to help you better train your Pokemon. The device will send your sleep data to your phone like most fitness trackers. Once connected to the game, the app will offer gameplay according to player's sleep pattern.

If the Pokemon Go game helped players in getting some exercise by chasing around Pokémon then the company hopes that the New Pokémon Sleep will help players in improving their sleeping habits. The game is likely to launch in 2020. Apparently, healthy sleep would help you train your Pokemon better in game.
