PUBG for consoles now receiving new patch, fixes problematic issues

The live servers of PUBG consoles should now be back as the live maintenance is now complete. A new update has started to seed to your battle-royale.

The live servers of PUBG consoles should now be back as the live maintenance is now complete. A new update has started to seed to your battle-royale. However, this is not the Update 5.2 which is now on test servers.  

The new patch - not Update 5.2

The latest patch fixes issues that have reportedly plagued players from a long time. These fixes should now be applied do the game. Hence, if you play PUBG on consoles and found the below issues, then there are fixes to these as well. Check these out. 

  • Fixed an issue where the lock icon is incorrectly displayed for private Custom Match rooms 
  • Fixed an issue where the weather setting of all Custom Match rooms are displayed as ‘Sunny’ 
  • Fixed an issue where a character would sometimes teleport in the early phase 
  • Fixed an issue where a Mirado skin is applied over the Gold Mirado 
  • Fixed an issue where a character’s mouth is glitched when holding a throwable item 
  • Fixed an issue where a character’s modelling is incorrectly displayed when wearing certain jackets with PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Bandana 
  • Fixed an issue where a female character’s net is glitched when wearing Erangel Biker Jacket with Longsleeved Turtleneck 
  • Fixed an issue where textures and icons of some items added in the October update are incorrectly displayed 
  • Fixed an issue where players sometimes get matched into the wrong region 

Then, there are other enhancements such as the incorporation of lobby background and celebration music. Do check these aspects out. As far as the new patch is concerned, PUBG Support states that this patch is a large one, hence have at least a GB of storage reserved for it.
