Players of the popular PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile) can now check out the new update 0.12.0 which was rumoured to seed from a comparatively long time. USP of this new iteration is its introduction of the RPG-7 rocket launcher. There are others as well.

Firstly the update 0.12.0 for PUBG Mobile is reportedly seeding as a beta, and is available for download from here.  This variant is applicable for both Apple iOS as well as Google Android mobile users. As per reports, the update 0.12.0 beta to PUBG Mobile is also said to be a global beta which means that this should be currently available for your smartphones. Hence, do check your devices right away.

Then, moving on to the other enhancements, the update also reportedly introduces the Crossbow-like weapon that should potentially add a decent degree of cover as far as invading and attacking enemies is concerned.

After the weapons, there is also the brand new zombie event node that is said to be visible now under “Events”. Do check for this as well. While playing this mode, the task for you would be to apparently survive by fending off zombies till you are taken away from the specific map. Here, you would fight the zombies at nightfall while you accumulate and top up your supplies during the day. This mode is called the New Infinity Mode: Darkest Night, replacing Events mode.

While in the zombies mode, you should also notice new Liquid Nitrogen grenades to freeze zombies resulting in reducing their rapid movements – thereby enabling you to move to newer locations swiftly.

Then, there is the Companion System which reportedly makes it possible to engage newer companions without enemies being able to view them. Here, you should also be able to earn extra Companion EXP for engaging friends for battle whilst getting to unlock custom emotes. One Companion here is the Eagle which was teased officially on Reddit. This can be unlocked by buying.

Finally, there are the conventional bug fixes and performance enhancements; but with this update being in beta it is possible that there could be certain minor errors. If you think you have found some, do let us know in the comments section below. The game is said to consume a mammoth 1.8GB space within your smartphone; hence, you are advised to free up considerable space to install and play.
