The PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 finale has witnessed the emergence of the team called Revenge Esports. This team walked away with the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 championship crown. The total prize money on offer was Rs 50 lakhs.

The second and third positions at the tournament have been bagged by Orange Rock and Orange Team INS respectively. The top team accumulated a total of 60 kills. The total prize money for the second and third position holders, at the PUBG Mobile India Tour, are Rs 20 lakhs and Rs 10 lakhs respectively. Here, the recognition is what matters most, even more than the monetary reward.

This is because eSports in India is a fairly emerging domain, and the teams need maximum exposure at global level at this juncture. This is evident considering the performance of Indian eSports teams at recent international events such as the PUBG Mobile Club Open and PUBG Mobile Star Challenge. More than the money, it is recognition that is now a key for Indian teams – to drive them to achieve championship crowns at future global events.

At this point in time, as far as PUBG Mobile is concerned, the game is getting the all-important Payload Mode on 23 October. For the uninitiated, Payload Mode lets players use helicopters and heavy machinery to slaughter enemies mercilessly. Hence it is an important enhancement that potentially enhances in-gem experiences.

PUBG Mobile recently received the Update 0.15.0 that introduces ledge grab. Then, there is the BRDM-2 tank, Desert Eagle pistol, Halloween-theme element, and some newer performance enhancements with this update. Payload Mode was missing here. It is now being confirmed for release. Do check out the game now.
