Looks like the food delivery aggregators are having a tough time to keep their services up to the customer's palates. Within hours of Zomato responding to a video about a delivery person eating food out of boxed orders meant for delivery, we have come across multiple complaints about wrong and incomplete food orders being delivered by Swiggy. Many users have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration over such incidents.

In one particular tweet, Twitter user alleged Swiggy of serving Chicken when the screenshot attached to her tweet suggests that she had ordered Mushroom stroganoff.

Swiggy Support apologised and assured that they will strive towards preventing such incidents from taking place in the future.

That, however, was not the only incident where Swiggy, as well as its partnered restaurants, are accused of mixing up vegetarian and non-vegetarian food orders. In a separate incident highlighted by another Twitter user, Swiggy delivered a non-vegetarian meal instead of a vegetarian meal.

Swiggy users seem more cautious ever since the Zomato food tampering issue came to a limelight. Many Swiggy users have raised questions about the packaging of food orders. While responding to one of the tweets, here is what Swiggy support had to say:

“We take strict precautions to ensure the orders delivered are perfect & recommend our users to not accept any faulty packages.”

Food apps would certainly have to step up their game as Indians are drawn to vegetarian food not only for health reasons or personal preference but mainly religious beliefs.
