The official game of the Indian Air Force (IAF) - A Cut Above is now launched for both Google Android as well as Apple iOS mobile devices. The game seemingly pays tributes to the bravehearts guarding our skies and launching offensives on enemies mercilessly when required. One of the in-game characters bears uncanny resemblances to Wing  Commander Abhinandan Varthaman who after destroying Pakistan terror camps in Balakot managed to brave his captors and return home unharmed. The game was launched by the Chief of the Indian Air Force – BS Dhanoa

The game is now available for playing on Android mobile devices running Android 5.0 & above. Size of the game is at least 33MB. USP of this game, apart from its Abhinandan-like protagonist complete with his moustache, is its storyline and missions numbering as many as 10, and real life-like fighter planes and environment requiring players to slaughter enemies of the nation without any mercy.

IAF’s A Cut Above supports both single player as well as multiplayer modes and there is also a tutorial mission that imparts training – like IAF in real life to players to fly planes and blast enemy territories.

Finally, with IAF’ s A Cut Above having come to the fore it remains to be seen if the game could serve as a potential choice over playerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) that has been enjoying huge popularity in India. This scenario would be theoretically desirable at any given point in time.
