CES 2019: Smart Futuristic Automobiles And Concept For Self Driving Cars To Be Showcased

Self-driving cars are being only piloted as of now.Smart/integrated automobiles are believed by experts to be the future of computation. These include tech elements like data-driven models and artificial intelligence with automation.

The CES 2019 is set to witness smart automotives driven by next-gen technology standards such as the Internet-of-Things (IoT), 5G network connectivity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and more. The obvious real world result of smart automotives are self-driving cars which are currently in pilot phases across certain countries of the world.

In this regard, self-driving cars naturally require op class infrastructure; both technical as well as physical; if these are to operate in a hassle-free manner. In India though, experts opine that it could still take a significantly long time for self-driving cars to hit the road; maybe even longer than believed. Here, if you are a technologist or a data scientist having models that are worth showcasing to the world; with respect to self-driving cars, you could explore the January 8 CES 2019 session.

Whilst developing futuristic technology-driven models for self-driving vehicles, the key element would be technology compliance after the right (data-driven) technical aspects are physically deployed. These could include the likes of sensors, routers, and custom control centres that are fully automated to drive operations of smart automobiles. Now, the key here would be that there have to be alert systems to dynamically alert humans in case eventualities are detected (beforehand) so that the safety aspects could be worked upon and deployed.

Hence, you could check out the CES 2019 self-driving cars track where featured speakers include the likes of Seleta Reynolds who is General Manager at Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT). Reynolds holds responsibilities such as reducing traffic accident fatalities.

The above track is seemingly an opportunity to put ideas into paper with respect to designing smarter transportation systems that are integrated and data-driven; even for the Indian scheme of things. If you have ideas with respect to traffic reduction (smartly) and reducing dependencies on traditional fuel forms for vehicles, do share these when you are at the CES 2019 and at the self-driving vehicles session track.
