Fitbit Charge 3 wireless fitness tracker has been launched in India. To recall, Fitbit initially announced the Charge 3 in India back in August. Fitbit Charge 3 price in India has been set for Rs 13,999. The device will be up for grabs across some of the major offline retail stores like Croma, Reliance Digital, Helios and more.
Fitbit Charge 3 is also being sold in a special edition, which costs Rs 15,999. Apart from the device itself, there are several accessories available to purchase as well. For example, Fitbit has been selling a classic band priced at Rs 2,990. That aside, Fitbit Woven Band and Fitbit Leather Band cost Rs 3,490 and Rs 4,490 respectively.
As far as the main highlight of Fitbit Charge 3 is concerned, it supports PurePulse heart rate technology. What's more, it also supports automatic exercise recognition, sleep tracking and swim-proof design for water resistance. Fitbit Charge 3 sports a touchscreen display. It offers over 15 built-in modes aimed at different exercises. Fitbit Charge 3 is also claimed to provide users with up to 7 days battery life.
As far as the design is concerned, Fitbit Charge 3 has a lightweight design to offer. What's more, it carries an aluminium-grade case. It sports an OLED panel, which is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen is also claimed to be 40 per cent brighter than its predecessor, Fitbit Charge 2.
This is for the first time that a Fitbit Charge 3 supports a SpO2 sensor. What it does is make it possible to estimate changes in terms of Oxygen levels in the blood. It also offers certain new health indicators such as Asthma, sleep apnea and more. Fitbit Charge 3 is available in multiple colour options: black with graphite aluminium case and blue-grey with a rose gold aluminium case.
