Huawei has launched a smart home Wi-Fi unit at the IFA 2019 called the Huawei WiFi Q2 Pro. This device could be used to derive connectivity even in low-signal areas across a home. It utilizes Huawei's gigabit PLC modem chip and PLC Turbo technology to substantially reduce signal noise and enhance the quality of communications between base and satellite routers. The router seems to be custom-made for business usage at home (work-from-home professionals/entrepreneurs).

The Huawei Q2 Pro

Huawei’s Q2 Pro inherits its predecessor's plug-and-play feature, thereby allowing as many as  15 satellites for each base that is configured. The router offers support for dual-band auto-selection, thereby offering optimization of Wi-Fi channels to bar interference from nearby signals

Dual-band auto-selection feature

In order to provide intelligent Wi-Fi connectivity, the Huawei Wi-Fi Q2 Pro supports dual-band auto-selection and seamless roaming, automatically connecting users to the hotspot and frequency band with the strongest signal and optimizing Wi-Fi channels to prevent interference from nearby signal derivations. The underlying Automatic network port identification technology lets users clearly identify and distinguish LAN and WAN ports. This indirectly enables a new router to derive automatically the Wi-Fi password from the same old router. Huawei Wi-Fi Q2 Pro router follows IPV6 that theoretically enhances network security/user privacy. In related news, the much-expected Huawei Mate 30 would be launched on 19 September. This information comes courtesy a tweet by Huawei that states that the Mate 30 Series would be showcased officially and launched in Munich. Check out this teaser, below:
