Samsung is fully embracing a wireless future. After launching its flagship Galaxy S10 lineup with reverse Power Share charging feature, Samsung has launched the Wireless Power Bank and Wireless Duo Pad in India – two accessories that can wirelessly charge Qi-certified devices. While the 10,000mAh Wireless Power Bank has been launched in India for Rs 3,699, the Wireless Duo Pad will cost buyers Rs 5,999.

The Wireless Power Bank is the more interesting of the two since it allows users to simultaneously charge two devices – one through wireless and the other through wired connection. The power bank supports Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging and Quick Charge 2.0 (15W) in both wired and wireless conditions. Supported devices include - Samsung S series and Note devices (Galaxy S6 and above), Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch range and all third-party Qi-certified devices.

The Wireless Power Bank has an all-Aluminum chassis and will be available in silver and pink options.

The Wireless Duo Pad can also simultaneously charge two devices, but it has seemingly been designed “keeping the wearable ecosystem in mind.” This means, it is ideal for wirelessly charging compatible Samsung phones (and other Qi-certified devices) and an accessory like a smartwatch/wireless ear buds like the Samsung Galaxy Watch/Galaxy Buds.

Available in black and white, Samsung’s Wireless Duo Pad ships with USB Type-C and supports its Adaptive Fast Charging tech.

“At Samsung, we aspire to do what can’t be done. The new wireless charging devices - with their best-in-class technology and gorgeous design are yet another example of ‘Samsung First’ innovations aimed to deliver distinct experiences to our consumers. The Wireless Power Bank and Wireless Charging Duo Pad will be a perfect fit for new-age consumers who are always connected and on the go. We hope that our new wireless charging devices will delight our consumers by giving them a seamless experience of a truly wireless life,” Aditya Babbar who is director, Mobile Business, Samsung India said in a statement.

The Wireless Power Bank and Wireless Duo Pad are now available for buying from all leading retail stores, Samsung e-Shop and Samsung Opera House – and from Amazon and Flipkart soon.
