Saregama Carvaan Go: This new portable music player stores 3,000 evergreen songs

Indian music label Saregama has announced the availability of its new offering - Saregama Carvaan Go, a pocket-sized portable music speaker.

Saregama Carvaan Go weighs 88 grams and comes at the price of Rs 3,990. As you might have expected, Saregama Carvaan Go speaker comes pre-loaded with 3,000 classic Hindi songs.

These songs are further categorised by Artistes, Specials and pre-curated Playlists. Similar to the previous model, Saregama Carvaan comes with FM/AM connectivity.

Saregama Carvaan also features a micro SD card slot for external storage up to 32 GB and sideload your pre-downloaded songs onto this new portable audio speaker.

Different ways to listen to songs

With the all-new Saregama Carvaan Go portable music player, you can listen to songs through earphones, aux out cable and Bluetooth. What’s more, you can play songs through a companion app called Carvaan App.

Saregama Carvaan app allows users to select songs or playlists from the music library of 3,000 songs and play through the Carvaan Go device. It packs a rechargeable battery under the hood which is claimed to last up to 7 hours.

Saregama Carvaan Go looks and design

Saregama Carvaan sports a small screen to display tracks, artists, playlists, and audio source. In terms of the design, the speaker is ideal for portable use. Users can carry the speaker to cars, flights or trains - wherever they want.

“Carvaan’s unprecedented success proves that listening to customers pays rich dividends. Carvaan Go is our response to customer want for listening to their favourite music outside home in a lean-back, uninterrupted fashion,” Vikram Mehra, Managing Director, Saregama said in a statement.

“Its light (88gm), fits into palm/pocket easily and has longer playback time (7hrs). And just like Carvaan, this product has also been fully designed internally by our employees,” Mehra added.
