Sony is prepping to introduce this year’s TV line-up and there’s something you should know if you are looking to go for one of its highest-end models. Recently, Sony outlined its plan for introducing the 2019 TV sets, alongside its price and availability details. Sony’s 98 inches 8K set will cost a whopping $70,000 that roughly translates to Rs 50,000 in the Indian currency.

Sony Master Series Z9G

Watching Sony launch a TV that costs $70,000 is hardly surprising, especially when we have Samsung Q900 that costs $100,000 (approximately Rs 70 lakh). Well, Sony’s TV is still comparatively affordable than the likes of Samsung.

Meanwhile, we don’t know when is Sony making its 98-inch 8K set available in India. But Sony’s upcoming TV set is unlikely to cost anything less than that of Audi A4 or BMW 3 Series in the Indian market.
