Ultimate Ears Boom 3 “Waterproof” Speakers Now Official: Comes With Magic Button

The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 waterproof speakers are now official, and their USP is that they are custom-designed for rough usage and applications like motorcycle jackets and fire equipment. Also new to BOOM 3 is a Magic Button on top of the speaker for convenient music control.

Each speaker offers 360-degree sound for comparatively clearer rendition. Ultimate Ears claims that whether at a desert festival or a pool party, users could stand out with an iridescent speaker that makes music even more portable, durable and immersive.

The next generation in the Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speaker range- BOOM 3  supports Magic Button on top of the speaker for convenient music control,” he added.

The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 comes with a custom Magic Button that lets users  play, pause, and skip tracks directly on the speakers without fumbling around for a phone in a bag or far away room. When paired with the redesigned BOOM by Ultimate Ears iOS mobile app, users should also be able to obtain one-touch access to all playlists on Apple Music, which offers a repository of more than 45 million songs. Audiophiles can also use the Magic Button to access their playlists on Deezer Premium—which offers 53 million tracks—on Android and soon on iOS..

Other upgrades to BOOM 3 include a new IP67 rating so the speakers are not only waterproof and drop proof, but also dustproof.  The Bluetooth range offered is up to 150 feet. The audio systems are also compatible with the Ultimate Ears Power Up charging dock that is sold separately.

The BOOM app incorporates features such as PartyUp—which works with all generations of BOOM and allows users to connect up to 150 speakers—as well as a custom equalizer (EQ), and remote on/off controls, in a newly designed interface.

Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 will be available on Amazon India from January 17, 2019 for Rs 15995. BOOM 3 will be available in three dual-toned colors: Night (Black), Sunset (Red) and Lagoon (Blue).
