Xiaomi launched as many as four new products – across multiple product portfolios, in India on Thursday. While the genuine star of the show was the 48MP camera-toting Redmi Note 7 Pro (and Redmi Note 7), Xiaomi also refreshed its existing Mi TV 4A Pro line-up with a new 32-inch model – an equally exciting (if not more) product that brings a dual interface – PatchWall and stock Android TV – allowing users to switch between the two at will and voice remote capabilities for just Rs 12,999.

The 32-inch Mi TV 4A Pro will sit below the 43-inch model that Xiaomi had launched earlier in the year and will be available for buying from March 7 from Mi.com/in, Flipkart and Mi Home Stores.

The 32-inch Mi TV 4A Pro boasts of a 1366x768 pixel resolution (HD-ready), a latency of 6.5 ms, a refresh rate of 60Hz, and 178 degree viewing angles. It is powered by a quad-core Amlogic processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Connectivity options include 3 HDMI (1 ARC), 2 USB, AV and an Ethernet port. It comes with dual 20W stereo speaker set-up with DTS-HD surround sound, and there’s also Chromecast built in.

The Mi TV 4A Pro (much like all Xiaomi smart TVs) also supports almost every prominent set-top box in India, from Tata Sky to the ones offered by local players like Hathway. Xiaomi is touting 700,000+ hours of content on PatchWall, while Android TV will allow users to install apps from the Play Store.

In addition to the 32-inch Mi TV 4A Pro, Xiaomi also launched the Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic in India on Thursday. Xiaomi’s Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones are IPX4-certified for splash and sweat resistance and boast of up to 9-hour battery life. Xiaomi is particularly touting their “dynamic bass and CVC noise cancellation” and the fact that they support Google Assistant, among other things. The Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones Basic have been launched in India for Rs 1,499 and are now available for pre order from Mi.com/in in white and black colour options.
