Xiaomi likely to announce Mi TV 4 65-inch variant in India soon

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch variant is soon expected to arrive in India following a tweet by the company’s India chief Manu Kumar Jain. According to Jain's tweet, Xiaomi could be preparing to launch a new, bigger variant of the existing Mi TV 4 in India.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch variant is soon expected in India following a tweet by the company’s India chief Manu Kumar Jain. According to Jain's tweet, Xiaomi could be preparing to launch a new, bigger variant of the existing Mi TV 4 in India. Currently, Xiaomi Mi TV 4 has 55-inch as the largest variant in the country. The tweet also mentions the hashtag #TheBiggerPicture.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 55-inch costs Rs 44,999 in India whereas the Mi TV 4 Pro 55-inch costs Rs 49,999. For now, we don’t for sure how much would the 65-inch variant of Mi TV 4 cost in India. However, Xiaomi Mi TV 4 65-inch model is being sold at 5,999 yuan in China which roughly converts at Rs 63,000.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 is 4.9mm thin and sports extremely narrow bezels. It features a 55-inch panel on the front with 3840 x 2160 pixels. It supports HDR and Dolby+ DTS system for audio. Internally, there is a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi TV 4 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3 HDMI ports, 2USB ports, AV in, S/PDIF audio output and Ethernet port. It runs an Android-based AI-enabled PatchWall operating system that categorises content and makes recommendations based on user preference.

In related news, Xiaomi recently announced a price cut across a wide range of Mi LED smart TVs including the first-generation 32-inch Mi TV 4A and the second-generation 32-inch Mi TV 4C Pro and 49-inch Mi TV 4A Pro.
