Xiaomi says it sold more than 1.2 crore devices during a festive month
Xiaomi on Wednesday said it sold more than 12 million devices across categories -- including smartphones, TVs, ecosystem and accessories --- in one month period

Xiaomi on Wednesday said it sold more than 12 million devices across categories -- including smartphones, TVs, ecosystem and accessories --- in one month period (from September 28 to October 29, 2019). This year, Xiaomi recorded a 40 per cent YoY growth over last year’s festive sales. Last year, Xiaomi says it sold more than 8.5 million devices during festive sales.
Smartphones
Of course, the majority of sale was generated through smartphones. Xiaomi says it sold more than 8.5 million smartphones in one month during the said period. As far as smartphone sales are concerned, Xiaomi tapped into 37 per cent YoY growth over last year's performance. Xiaomi says Redmi Note 7 series was the best selling series during this period. During the main Diwali sale, Xiaomi says nine out of ten top-selling phones on Amazon were Xiaomi phones. Meanwhile, Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A were the best selling budget smartphones on Amazon.

Smart TVs
6 lakh Mi TV units were sold during this period, resulting in 48 per cent YoY growth over last year's festive sales. Xiaomi says the Mi TV line-up was the highest-selling TV on both Flipkart and Amazon.
Other products
Xiaomi says it sold more than 3 million Mi Ecosystem products and accessories, translating to 42 per cent YoY growth for the category. Xiaomi says Mi Band and Mi Power Banks were bestsellers in wearable and power banks category, respectively. Meanwhile, it claims Mi Air Purifier 2S was the bestseller in the Air Purifier category on Amazon. Xiaomi also said its newly launched Mi Smart Water Purifier was sold out within minutes of starting the sale.

"Our festive sales have soared beyond expectations where we have sold an industry-leading 12 million+ devices across all our platforms."
