Android Q Ends Google’s “Dessert” Treats
Android 10 is not Google Desserts. Android Q is also officially dead.

Android Q would no more throw up desserts to its users, as it would be officially called Android 10. Android 10 marks the end of Google’s dessert-names for its mobile operating systems (OSes). Android 10 would also introduce a refreshed look, Google says. The logo for the new OS also looks refreshing. The newest version of Android would be released in a few weeks, in the imminent future.
“This naming tradition has become a fun part of the release each year externally, too. But we’ve heard feedback over the years that the names weren’t always understood by everyone in the global community,” stated Google.

In related updates, the Android 10 beta has now started seeding to Redmi K20 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphones. This is for Xiaomi developers preferring to test out Android 10 for bugs.
