In a yet another accidental leak by Apple, outline-specs of the upcoming phones were accessed. Reports suggest that all three phones that are scheduled to be launched later on September 12 will be based on the architecture of iPhone X.

All the three phones awaiting the September launch will sport the edge to edge that the company had introduced in its previous year's flagship, iPhone X. Internal sources at Apple suggest that the upcoming launch is most likely to be called as the 'S year' which we all know is a name that the Apple uses while deriving its design from the previous models adding new internal features.

Apart from the leak, Apple has not proved to be the best keeper of secrets after its Beta iOS 12 hinted plenty about its upcoming models well ahead of its release.

The new launch after the leaks could be rather termed as an incremental upgrade rather than a new launch. As reported by 9to5 Mac, Apple is expected to launch to new iPhones, out of which one would be a phablet with a 6.5-inch screen size along with another 5.8-inch phone with the same edge to edge OLED display.

Additionally, reports also suggest that the company is aiming for a 'cheaper' device with a 6.1-inch LCD screen that is expected to replace the iPhone 8 or could be an entry-level iPhone SE 2.

Earlier this month, According to data that was released by International Data Corporation (IDC), Canalys and Strategy Analytics, Chinese phone manufacturer Huawei overtook Apple and moved onto the second position in terms of market share of worldwide shipments of smartphones in the second quarter of 2018.

According to the data, the company shipped over 54 million handsets in the second quarter compared to the 41.3 million that was recorded by Apple. The list is topped by Samsung which sold over 73 million units in the second quarter. As per IDC's figures, Samsung held 20.9% of the market share, while Huawei ranked second with 15.8% trailed by Apply which had 12.1% of the share.

It was also found out that the whopping jump of 41% in Huawei's shipments was majorly credited to the company's Honor brand. In its press release, IDC stated that 'the Honor brand continues to be a key driver of growth for the Chinese tech giant'. Additionally, Canalys states that the Honor brand "accounted for two-thirds of the near 16-million-jump that Huawei made this quarter".
