Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility will launch the Moto G7 Power in India on February 15, a source familiar with Motorola’s plans has confirmed to Republic World. The company will launch the Moto G7 Power in India at a market operating price (MOP) of Rs 13,999. The Moto G7 Power is available only in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, so the quoted price is for this particular variant. Motorola will start selling the Moto G7 Power in India from February 15 from both online as well as offline sales channels.
There is no word if Motorola will launch the Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 Play in India anytime soon though. The Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power, to recall, were launched at a stand-alone keynote event in Brazil earlier this month. Prices start from Euros 150 for the entry-level Moto G7 Play, going all the way to Euros 300 for the most premium Moto G7 Plus. The Moto G7 Power, for some perspective, costs Euros 210 which roughly translates to around Rs 17,000.
The battery-focused Moto G7 Power comes with a 6.2-inch 720p+ LCD display with an iPhone X-style notch. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie software and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support which is claimed to offer 9 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging. The battery inside the Moto G7 Power is rated to deliver up to 2.5 days of usage on single charge.
On to cameras, the Moto G7 Power sports a 12MP camera on the rear and an 8MP camera on the front.
The Moto G7 Power, at a price of Rs 13,999, will compete directly with the Xiaomis and the Realmes and the Honors that have quite interesting products in the around Rs 15,000 price category.
