OnePlus is gearing to launch the OnePlus 7 Pro (alongside a vanilla OnePlus 7) on May 14. The company has been on a teaser spree lately, revealing just the right amount of information to catch everyone’s attention – and keep them asking for more at the same time. This includes the design aspect as well, only a new set of leaked renders just made their way to the World Wide Web – leaving nothing to the imagination.

Serial tipster Ishan Agarwal has managed to unearth what he claims are official renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro in Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey paintjobs. Going by the history of the tipster, we have reason to believe that this could well be it. Although the renders don’t reveal anything that we do not already know about the upcoming OnePlus flagship, it does paint a complete picture – from the front, from the back and from the sides.

The design seems familiar if you’ve crossed paths with the OnePlus 6/OnePlus 6T especially from the back. You can say that the triple camera setup is new, and it is, but the arrangement of the module is still very OnePlus 6/OnePlus 6T-like. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will ship with a 48MP primary sensor (for effective 12MP photos) and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities – the third sensor will likely be wide-angle.

The positioning of the power button, alert slider and volume rocker stays put from the OnePlus 6/OnePlus 6T.

The biggest change is seen on the front as the OnePlus 7 Pro is set to get a near full-screen curved display without any notch or cutout – it will likely come with a pop-up selfie camera seen in phones like the Vivo 15 Pro a Oppo F11 Pro. OnePlus has been hyping the OnePlus 7 Pro display big time, so it’s safe to say that it will be one of its key highlights.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a class-leading AMOLED display, according to OnePlus. “DisplayMate's in-depth Lab Tests of the OnePlus 7 Pro OLED Display have just been completed, earning our Highest A+ Display Rating,” analysis firm DisplayMate announced recently. This essentially means that the OnePlus 7 Pro display is (going to be) even better than the Samsung Galaxy S10+' - the OnePlus 7 Pro will have the best smartphone display ever.

OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will be fast and smooth, seemingly hinting at the phone’s much-rumoured curved Quad-HD+ resolution Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate – both of which will be a first for OnePlus.

The vanilla OnePlus 7 is meanwhile said to come with a relatively flatter bezel and dual rear cameras.
