Huawei subsidiary Honor is all set to launch the Honor View 20, or the Honor V20, in China on December 26. The Honor View 20 is already confirmed to sport an all-view display, a punch-hole selfie camera and a whopping 48MP primary rear shooter. And now Honor has taken to Chinese social media website Weibo to share a few more details about the phone in question.

Honor, in fact, has been sharing such teasers on Weibo for some time now. Previously, it had confirmed that the Honor View 20 will come with a punch-hole style 25MP front camera and a sizeable 4,000mAh battery. Now, it has confirmed that the phone will support advanced GPS for more accurate GPS tracking and 960fps video recording: features that we have already seen in Huawei’s high-end flagship Mate 20 Pro. Clearly, with everything that’s in store, the Honor View 20 or the Honor V20 is heading to be a high-end flagship phone as well much on the lines of the Mate 20 Pro.

If that wasn’t enough, the Honor View 20 may also get its own special edition in partnership with a legacy automobile brand. This legacy automobile brand is said to be Maserati. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro, to recall, has a special edition in partnership with Porsche, and it looks nothing like the original Mate 20 Pro. The Honor View 20 Maserati edition may also pack something different in the looks department – in addition to heftier specs – similarly.

The USP of the Honor View 20 will be its all-view display made possible through a punch-hole selfie camera setup. The View 20 was one of the first few phones to be announced with such a setup, with Huawei itself recently announcing its own take on it in the form of the Huawei Nova 4. The goal is to offer maximum screen real-estate by punching a hole in the display and incorporate an in-screen selfie camera that otherwise would take up a lot of space. Even Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8s in China with a similar setup.

As for the Honor View 20, it is said to come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and a Kirin 980 processor under the hood. It is said to come with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, and Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 software.
