How to verify whether your number is registered with SBI account

All SBI users need to verify whether they have their mobile number registered with their SBI account. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: First things first, SBI customers can log into SBI internet banking facility using login credentials such as username and password. Go to onlinesbi.com and sign into your net banking account.

Step 2: Once you have logged into your internet banking account, navigate to ‘My accounts and profile’ > ’Profile.’ Then, click on the Personal Details/Mobile option.

Step 3: You will have to enter your profile password. Do keep in mind that profile password is different from your login password. Your mobile number will then be displayed.

How to register mobile number with SBI account

First-time registrants can register their mobile number by either visiting the nearest SBI branch or ATM. We feel registering mobile number with SBI ATM should be more convenient than visiting an SBI branch.

Step 1: Swipe your ATM card and select the option called 'Registration.' Enter your ATM pin and select the option for mobile number registration.

Step 2: Input the mobile number you wish to register with SBI. You will have to enter the number twice for confirmation. Once you confirm, a message will appear "Thank you for registering your mobile number with us."

Step 3: You will receive an SMS with a reference number. As per SBI, you should receive a call from SBI executive within three working days. We recommend you should ask the SBI executive to quote the reference number you must have received before you share any personal details.

Step 4: Once you successfully verify all the mandatory details, your mobile number will be registered with SBI. You will receive a confirmation saying so in the form of an SMS.

If you want to update a new mobile number, you can log into your SBI online account and navigate to personal information updation page.
