Huawei sub-brand Honor is all set to unveil a new smartphone next week. Folks over at Honor have scheduled a launch event for November 21 in China where they will launch the all-new Honor 10 Lite. As its name suggests, Honor 10 Lite will essentially be a toned-down variant of Honor 10. At the time of writing this, there is absolutely no clarity on whether the company is planning to introduce the handset in India. But we will have more clarity once it launches in China. Honor 10, however, is still selling on Flipkart at Rs 32,999.
Ahead of the official announcement next week, key specifications of Honor 10 Lite are revealed, courtesy a pre-order listing on Huawei's own e-commerce website Vmall in China. As per the listing, powering the handset is Huawei’s Kirin 710 chipset. Honor 10 Lite is up for pre-order until November 21 in China. Other specifications revealed by the listing includes a 5.84-inch LCD panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
As seen on the teasers, Honor 10 Lite will feature a vertical dual rear camera setup, much like Honor 8X, Honor 8C and Honor Note 10. The design, however, bears a striking resemblance to that of Honor 10. However, Unlike Honor 10, this one will provide users with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Honor 10 Lite is expected with Android Pie software with the Huawei custom EMUI 9.0 skin on top.
Meanwhile, Honor 10 features a 5.84-inch 1080p notched display on the front. Inside is the Hisilicon Kirin 970 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It houses 16MP+24MP dual rear cameras and 24MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Honor 10 comes with a 3,400mAh battery.
