Huawei has launched a new mid-tier phone called the Nova 5z in China. The key highlight of the Huawei Nova 5z is its punch-hole display and quad rear cameras with a 48MP main camera. Huawei has launched the Nova 5z in China at a starting price of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,000) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage going all the way to CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 18,000) for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Huawei Nova 5z comes with a 6.26-inch 1080p+ IPS LCD display with punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera and is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 810 processor. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. The phone is further backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 20 fast charging support through USB Type-C. On the software front, the Huawei Nova 5z runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1.    

Cameras seem to be the main highlight of the Huawei Nova 5z – it comes with quad rear cameras consisting of one 48MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, another 2MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography and a 2MP macro camera for close-ups. On the front, the Huawei Nova 5z comes with a 32MP camera.  

The Nova 5z starts at a price of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 16,000) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage going all the way to CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 18,000) for the top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Huawei Nova 5z will be available for buying in China from November 1. 

In other news, Huawei launched the budget Enjoy 10 in China recently. The Huawei Enjoy 10 comes with a 6.39-inch 720p+ display, also with punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera and it is powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710F processor. It comes with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is also expandable. The phone is further backed by a 4,000mAh battery with microUSB charging. 

The Huawei Enjoy 10 comes with dual rear cameras consisting of one 48MP sensor and another 2MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Huawei Enjoy 10 comes with an 8MP camera.  

The Huawei Enjoy 10 has been launched at a starting price of CNY 1,199 (which roughly translates to Rs 12,000) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version, going all the way to CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 14,000) for the top-end model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
