Huawei has launched a new mid-tier phone, called the Huawei Y7 2019, in European markets. The Huawei Y7 2019 has been launched in Europe at a price of Euros 220 which roughly translates to Rs 17,299. This is for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant of the Huawei Y7 2019 – Huawei is offering only this variant for sale for now.
The Huawei Y7 2019 comes with Huawei and Honor’s signature gradient colour design with a dewdrop notch on the front, although being a budget device also means that it rocks a plastic body (with a glossy finish) - it will be available in three colours, aurora blue, midnight black and coral red.
The phone comes with a 6.26-inch 720p+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is also expandable. The phone is further backed by a sizeable 4,000mAh battery and it charges via standard micro-USB.
On the software front, the Huawei Y7 2019 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2.
On the camera front, the Huawei Y7 2019 has a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of one 13MP senor and another 2MP sensor for depth-sensing or portrait photography. On the front, the Huawei Y7 2019 comes with an 8MP camera.
Huawei recently launched the Huawei Y9 2019 in India at a price of Rs 15,990 – on paper it packs better specs than the Huawei Y7 2019. The Huawei Y9 2019 comes with a 6.5-inch 1080p+ display and Huawei’s in-house Kirin 710 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone is further backed by a 4,000mAh battery and it charges via standard micro-USB.
On the camera front, the Huawei Y9 2019 comes with a dual camera setup on the rear consisting of one 16MP senor and another 2MP sensor for depth-sensing. The Huawei Y9 2019 also packs two cameras on the front: a 13MP and another 2MP sensor with features like 3D portrait lighting.
There is no word if Huawei will launch the Huawei Y7 2019 in India anytime soon.
