Honor has launched the Honor 20-series in India. The Honor 20-series lineup has three phones in all – the mid-tier Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20, and the budget Honor 20i. As expected, it’s the Honor 20 that’s particularly interesting, because not only does it get nearly every feature of the more premiere Honor 20 Pro, it also costs less in comparison. The Honor 20 strikes the right balance of hardware and affordability – which makes it an even bigger catch than the Pro model.

Honor has launched the Honor 20 in India at a price of Rs 32,999 which means it takes on the OnePlus 7 – a phone that’s brilliant in every way save the cameras. And that’s where the Honor 20 steps in with its unique quad-camera setup. Not only does the Honor 20 offer a level of versatility that no other smartphone offers at its price point in this regard, it is also a compelling option in terms of all-round camera quality.

Let’s take a closer look at the Honor 20 and everything that it brings to the table.

-- Since it’s mostly all about the cameras, here goes – the Honor 20 has four cameras on the rear. The quad camera setup in the Honor 20 has a 48MP main camera with Sony’s IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16MP super wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree FOV, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP dedicated macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. This means every camera in the Honor 20’s quad camera setup has its own unique virtue.

-- The Honor 20 supports Honor’s AI ultra-clarity mode and AIS super night mode – for sharper 48MP photos, and clearer low-light shots.

-- The Honor 20 also supports 4K video recording at 30fps – there's no OIS but the Honor 20 has EIS which also AI-based.

-- Speaking of design, the Honor 20 has an all-glass gradient design with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner – the phone will be available in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black options.

-- Another marquee feature of the Honor 20 is its 6.26-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a punch-hole notch.

-- The punch-hole notch on-board the Honor 20 houses a 32MP front camera.

-- The Honor 20 is powered by Huawei’s top-of-the-line Kirin 980 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

-- The Honor 20 runs Android Pie-based Magic UI software.

-- The Honor 20 does not support expandable storage. It does not have a headphone jack either.

-- The Honor 20 packs a 3,750mAh battery and supports Huawei’s 22.5 SuperCharge fast charging tech.

-- Honor has launched the Honor 20 in India at a price of Rs 32,999. It will be available for buying in India from June 25 from Flipkart. Honor is offering up to 90 per cent buy back guarantee within 90 days for Honor 20 buyers.
