The OnePlus 7 Pro has been leaking left, right and center. It has leaked yet again, hours ahead of its scheduled global launch. This time, its courtesy an alleged promotional video of the phone in question, which has been spotted on Reddit. We do not guarantee the authenticity of the promo video, but it does look like the real thing – also, it falls in line with all the rumor mills leading up to D-day. The leaked promo video shows off the OnePlus 7 Pro in its full glory – from every perceivable angle.
All the possible color variants of the OnePlus 7 Pro make an appearance here - Mirror Gray, Almond and Nebula Blue. The front, as expected, is all-screen with curved glass – in one of the shots, the phone is placed front facing down and you can see light flowing off the sides. Very reminiscent of how things are in Samsung’s top-tier Galaxy S10 phones. There’s no notch on the OnePlus 7 Pro though. Rather, it has a pop-up selfie camera – the promo video also shows this pop-up mechanism in action.
Full specs and pricing of the OnePlus 7 Pro have already leaked online. The OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly come with a 6.67-inch ‘fluid’ AMOLED display with a 3120x1440 pixel or QHD+ resolution. The key highlight will be its 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has been building quite a lot of hype around the phone’s fast and smooth ‘breakthrough’ display which is supposedly going to be the best in the industry. There’s also an in-display fingerprint scanner in the fray.
Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage which will be non-expandable.
The OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly be available in as many as three configurations – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. A 4,000mAh battery is said to power the whole thing with 30W USB Type-C Warp Charging. There’s no word on a 3.5mm audio jack, although the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to come with stereo speakers.
On to the optics, the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with three rear cameras – a primary 48MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture and OIS, a 16MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree field-of-view, and an 8MP camera for 3x optical zoom. On the front, the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a pop-up 16MP camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS.
As for pricing, the OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly start at Euro 699 (roughly Rs 54,750) for the variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, going all the way to Euro 819 (roughly Rs 64,175) for the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB will reportedly cost Euro 749 (roughly Rs 58,683).
