Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has launched the Moto E6 budget phone in the US. The Moto E6 will go on sale in the US this summer via T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Consumer Cellular and Xfinity Mobile, and universally unlocked on Amazon and at Best Buy, B&H Photo and Walmart stores. Internationally the Moto E6 will launch in Canada first, and should be available in other global markets, including in India soon enough.

The price of the Moto E6 is $150 which roughly translates to Rs 10,300 and it will be available in Navy Blue and Starry Black colours.

Speaking of specs, the Moto E6 comes with a 5.5-inch 720p+ display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor under the hood paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage which is expandable by up to 256GB via a micro-SD card slot. The single SIM Moto E6 runs Android 9 Pie software and packs a 3,000mah battery with micro-USB charging. The Moto E6 further has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

The body of the Moto E6 is made entirely out of plastic and there’s no fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Motorola is touting the Moto E6’s P2i nano-coating which makes the phone splash resistant.

The Moto E6 seems not very different from the Moto E5. In fact, in some areas, it also sees a downgrade in comparison to its predecessor. The Moto E series has always made its way to India so we have reason to believe Motorola will launch the Moto E6 in India as well.

In other news, Motorola launched the Moto One Vision in India recently at a price of Rs 19,999 – this is for the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Not only is the Moto One Vision Motorola’s first smartphone with a punch-hole design, it is also the first Motorola phone to have an unusually tall 21:9 display. Not only is the Motorola One Vision Motorola’s first smartphone with a Samsung Exynos-based mobile processor, it is also the first Motorola phone to ship with a 48MP main camera with Night Vision – which is Motorola’s take on Google’s Night Sight.
