Lenovo-owned Motorla Mobility may be looking to launch a slew of affordable phones on October 24. Two of the possible contenders, aka Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play, have already leaked and now a third budget phone called the Moto E6 Play has surfaced online. The Moto E6 Play should be a toned-down Moto E6 Plus, if the naming convention is anything to go by. Note that Motorola has already launched the Moto E6 Plus as the Moto E6s in India.

Moto E6 Play renders surface

Renders of the alleged Moto E6 Play have been spotted online revealing some key design elements of the phone in question. Basis of the renders, it’s apparent than the Moto E6 Play will come in blue and black at least – with a glossy back that should be all-plastic. The phone will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a single camera (as opposed to the Moto E6s/Moto E6 Plus that has dual rear cameras). On the front, there will be sizeable bezels on all sides (as opposed to the Moto E6s/Moto E6 Plus that has a waterdrop notch) suggesting we’re looking at a 16:9 or 18:9 aspect ratio. Sadly, the renders aren’t accompanied by any specs like it was in the case of the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play renders.

For some perspective, the Moto E6s comes with a 6.1-inch 720p+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie software and packs a 3,000mAh battery with micro-USB charging. The Moto E6s further come with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, the Moto E6s comes with an 8MP camera.

Speaking of design, the Moto E6s comes with an all-plastic body with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is available for buying in two colors - Polished Graphite and Rich Cranberry at a price of Rs 7,999.
