Days after announcing at IFA 2019, Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has confirmed that it will launch the Moto E6 Plus budget phone in India soon. Although Motorola hasn’t specified an exact date of launch, we expect the company to launch the Moto E6 Plus in India in the next few weeks. Much like any other Moto E phone, the Moto E6 Plus is also an entry-level phone designed as a reliable workhorse for buyers on a tight budget.

Specs and features

Speaking of specs, the Moto E6 Plus has a 6.1-inch 720p+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie software and packs a 3,000mAh battery with micro-USB charging. The Moto E6 Plus further come with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, the Moto E6 Plus comes with an 8MP camera.

Unsurprisingly, the Moto E6 Plus has an all-plastic body with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone will be available for buying in two colors - Polished Graphite and Bright Cherry. The Moto E6 Plus has been launched at a starting price of Euros 139 (roughly Rs 11,000).

The Moto E6 Plus was launched alongside the Motorola One Zoom at IFA 2019. It would be interesting to see if Motorola brings that to India anytime soon. The Motorola One Zoom comes with a 6.4-inch OLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing with support for 15W fast charging.

The main USP of the Motorola One Zoom is its cameras. The phone has four cameras on the rear – a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Motorola One Zoom has a 25MP camera.
