Moto E6 Plus ultra-budget phone with dual cameras launched by Motorola

The Moto E is Motorola’s ultra-affordable lineup and the Moto E6 Plus is also an ultra-affordable phone that’s all about the basics.

The Motorola One Zoom may have been the showstopper at Motorola’s IFA 2019 keynote event, but the company also had another interesting phone to announce – the Moto E6 Plus. The Moto E is Motorola’s ultra-affordable lineup and the Moto E6 Plus is also an ultra-affordable phone that’s all about the basics. The Moto E6 Plus has been launched at a starting price of Euros 139 (roughly Rs 11,000) and it will be available for buying in Europe later this month. 

Moto E6 Plus specs and features

Speaking of specs, the Moto E6 Plus comes with a 6.1-inch 720p+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage. The dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie software and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with micro-USB charging.  

Camera and Design

On to the cameras, the Moto E6 Plus come with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, the Moto E6 Plus has an 8MP camera.  As is the norm, the Moto E6 Plus has an all-plastic body with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone will be available for buying in two colors - Polished Graphite and Bright Cherry. 

The Moto E6 Plus was launched alongside the affordable mid-ranger, the Motorola One Zoom. The Motorola One Zoom has a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor under the hood. This is paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is also expandable via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. There’s a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing with support for 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. 

The Motorola One Zoom further has four cameras on the rear – a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto camera for 3x optical zoom, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the Motorola One Zoom has a 25MP camera. The Motorola One Zoom has been launched at a price of Euros 400 (roughly Rs 32,000) and is now available for buying in select markets in Europe and the US.
