The Moto G7 and Moto G7 Power, to recall, were globally announced at a stand-alone keynote event in Brazil in February, alongside the Moto G7 Plus and Moto G7 Play. The phone uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and the back (it has a plastic frame) and is also splash-resistant, according to Motorola – it measures 8mm and weighs 172 grams.

The Moto G7 comes with a 6.2-inch 1080p+ LCD display with a teardrop notch and 19:9 aspect ratio – Motorola calls it Max Vision. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Pie software (with Moto enhancements called Moto experiences) and packs a 3,000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower charging support which is claimed to offer 9 hours of usage in 15 minutes of charging – the phone charges via USB Type-C.

On to cameras, the Moto G7 sports a dual camera system on the rear consisting of one 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and another 5MP sensor for depth sensing aka portrait photography. On the front, the Moto G7 comes with an 8MP camera that can also shoot software-assisted portrait selfies.
